Hi! My name is Maneera Chopra and I participated in the Spring 2015 Green Fellows Program. I went to the Texas Academy of Math and Science at UNT, where I first starting researching. After working in a developmental neurobiology lab and a marine conservation lab, I found that I really enjoyed biology lab work. My first passion, however, is medicine. I plan to graduate from UT Dallas and hopefully one day be a physician. My hobbies outside of science include piano, portraiture, and writing. The Green Fellows Program has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me personally because of all the connections I made and life lessons learned. I am glad to have made great friends through this program, and we have shared many memories. I encourage everyone who is interested to apply to the Green Fellows Program.
Hello hello! Welcome to the Green Fellowship website! My name is Danielle Reuben, and I have always enjoyed creating things – music, baked goods, jewelry and accessories, and hand-lettered art. This personal characteristic explains why I am so intrigued by organic synthesis. The ability to create new molecules that have a variety of applications in everyday life fascinates me, and it was this fascination that led me to working in Dr. Mihaela Stefan's lab at UTD and participating in the Green Fellowship in spring 2016.
